Military Vehicle Simulator Work Expands. Thomas receives new orders
Under an existing contract, Thomas Electronics is currently working with Thales Training and Simulation (TTS) to provide various simulator display systems for the Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV) simulator. These systems include electronically switchable video splitters, LCD’s for “real world” view and CRTs for thermal imaging displays.
On the back of the success of the current project, Thomas has recently been awarded a contract to expand the scope of work on the thermal displays, and to produce three new types of displays to be used in the ASLAV simulator. The current success of the visual systems supplied by Thomas Electronics has again demonstrated our unique capability as a center of excellence for display technology.
