Our Commitment to Quality
The directors and management of Thomas Electronics of Australia believe that a commitment to quality is essential to the ongoing success of the company. For this reason we will not compromise Thomas Electronics' standards for short term gain.
One of the most important principles used in developing and managing our quality system is the achievement of consistency in all activities undertaken by Thomas Electronics.
Our policy is to achieve consistency by maintaining control of our processes through measurement, statistical analysis and the use of documented procedures. Consistency will be maintained in the long term by our policy of continually reviewing and making improvements to all aspects of our operations and by involving customers, employees and suppliers in the improvement process.
We recognise that the skills of our employees are the company's most valuable asset and our policy is to identify the need for, and provide, appropriate training to enhance existing and potential skills. Our aim is to provide a company culture in which all employees contribute to quality assurance, take responsibility, and have the commitment to initiate corrective actions, so that the problems, defects or mistakes do not reoccur.
The ongoing implementation of our quality assurance management system ensures that all aspects of company performance and procedures are documented, monitored and reviewed so that our customers are supplied with products that are reliable, consistent and meet or exceed their requirements and expectations.
It is our intention to build better and long-lasting relationships with our suppliers and customers through the adoption of a structured quality system. It will ensure that an attitude of dedication to quality exists throughout the company.
Thomas Electronics' quality systems ensure:
- our customers' requirements are fully understood
- all tasks in our processes are defined
